so before with my sliping clutch it wasnt a prob to run the 1/4 cuz id never break 100 mph trap speed now that i got a good clutch and good axles and tires im hitting the speed limiter i have been told you can put a switch on the speed sensor but if i do that then my speedooo will be shut off of course i will know how fast i was going with the timeslip but id still like to know how fast im going downt the track in the car any help is appreciated, and by the way its keepin me from breaking the mid 13's
and i know this has all be discussed before abut im a noodie to the forum but not to the car

Im pretty sure if you had the technology in your car to run mid 13's, and it was tuned properly, then you wouldn't have to worry about this, and you would also know how to get rid of the limiter. Provide a timeslip and PROVE it is from ur car, and maybe JUST MAYBE someone will help you out....

well from your profile i see you dont have the technology to brek mid 15's but anyways on another note im note here to get into a argument about who has what, your car isnt that fast, im at work dont have the timeslip with me and if i did i wouldnt post it . i have nothing to prove to you by posting it .and if you dont beleive me bring your self down to mason dixon drag way in maryland and listen to me bounce off the speed limiter, as im going down the strip. im not a street racer never have never will be friends have gotten killed doing it so have no need to do it as some of your are thinking thats why im asking.

judging by your profile you dont have jack. nor do you have a timeslip listed. and if you want help from us with your 108 mph problem, then you will post your slip when you get home. you do have a home right? and before you go and say "i dont have a scanner". go to wal mart and scan it. they have one in the photo section. or just order hptuner software and do it that way

Well, the thing is, that I never claimed to have any technology. But I know I can break mid 15's so I don't need to brag about it. If you read some simple rules and use a search button every once in a while, you would realize that you are gonna get owned for asking such a stupid question without having proof that you are capable of needed to raise or disable the limiter. I know that 99% of the people on here will agree with me.
