Well,
Received most of my parts today and I have to decide on a few things. I got an AFCO intercooler, a ford lightning pump/with pigtail, a cobaltSS filler tube, and the duel pass supercharger endplate. What Im trying to decide on is if I need an oversized reservoir or not??? Its another 200$ for a good one. I relocated my battery to the trunk so I have alot of room in the bay. Im undecided...... comments?????
Also I attached some pics of my battery relocation. I didn't want charging system issues so I ran two 1 Gauge wires from the engine bay through the fire wall under the carpet to the trunk..... I think my car even idles smoother now with the 1 Gauge ground.......

I used the option B reservoir for a cobalt, it works pretty good. Why did you get a manifold end plate you already have one on your manifold and I can see it in your engine pictures? I got it all hooked up and only took me about 8 hours total and I am no mechanic. I am having my car dynoed Saturday to see if it makes a difference. GOod luck with it.

I got the end plate because it allows for a duel pass set-up. (it has an extra hose barb on it) This endplate allows more coolant to circulate and is more efficient than the regular set up. Ive heard it can take your intake temp down by as much as 40 degrees.

I truly do not think you need the extra tank.
Also did you run your ground all the way back to the front of the car? If so you wasted soo much wire doing that. You can go to the frame rail under the trunk and good to go.

Yup thats what I did! I figured it was fool proof that way. I was going to just anchor it to the frame but I thought ahhh, what the hell. I have the carpet pulled back anyway.

I'd say an extra tank is a necessity as you just keep pumping the same coolant around the system, the more coolant you have the more efficient it should be. I would think you could find something in the $100 range. Canton make Mustang Cobra tanks that fit well in the J.
Back by the ABS.
talk to a couple cobalt guys, i dont think you need that much
i dont think you would run the coolant back through the bottle so having a huge one might not matter but i could be wrong. well let me know how it works ot for ya
