I have the the Mitsubishi turbo from a 2003 Saab 9-3 and it recently started making lot of noise and will not make no pressure.I found one from a 2007 Saab 9-3 with the B207R hi pressure engine.Will this one work?
If I'm not mistaken, the Mitsubishi
is the B207R High Pressure turbocharger. Should be an even swap minus the blood and sweat.
the mistu is from the B207R i can verify that, but i can't verify if they are consistant through the years though.
its a differnt motor
you need one from 2003-2005
they changed the engine and the bolt patterns
swapped, supercharged, intercooled, 2.9, fun
I just picked it up and it looks identical.Has the same numbers on it so I will install it this weekend and let you guys know.Also do you know what size the threads are for the oil inlet or what size banjo.I'm switching to braided lines.
2003 to current are the same turbo (depending on the trim and 4cyl only)
How did you make out on this turbo? It looks like your selling this kit in the classifieds now.
I made out good.This kit come with a turbo off a 2007 which still has under 10,000 miles.Thanks for bringing it up matt might help it to sell now.
