12 Second Club gear

I figure that since 99.99% of all Js that have gone into the 12s are boosted this would be the place for this....

Would anyone be interested in some custom hats for members that break into the 12 second bracket. I am going to be ordering some hats for TVR and I can get a decent deal on some hats for the 12 second guys if there's enough interest. We can even do decals too if you really wanna brag about your times.

Anyone interested?

Maybe it's the fact that you can't race a car or that fact that you think body kits look good that is clouding your mind. You don't have a 12 second capable car so your opinion on this matters none.

Some of us care to share our accomplishments. Yours appears to be painting and kitting a car. Mine is going faster than anyone else thought possible on a stock driveline and continuing to go faster than thought possible again.

12 sec passes are no doubt fast but at the same time 12s in a J compared to the big picture is sorta like winning the special olympics.............IMHO

Well that's your opinion and I don't share it. Running a 12 in ANY 4 cylinder is an accomplishment. Hell there's tons of V8s that couldn't run 13s without a ton of work not too many years ago. I think that the 12 second bracket is the biggest one there is simply for the fact that after you pass it the amount of work and time and cost rockets substantially. It is the last "cheap" time you can achieve.

So what that you think I'm an attention whore. Do you think your the first person to ever say that to me? LOL. I like letting people know what I've accomplished, especially when it's something that not everyone can do.

Its not as retarded as making a business card to tell people you're "the 3rd fastest ecotec Cavalier".

Can be a burn if I don't give a @!#$. Just a bunch of tools trying to make themselves feel good by talking trash over the internet. Doesn't bother me at all because I know it for what it is.

Besides...I don't care what anyone thinks of the business cards. They helped get me a @!#$ ton of contacts that I've been working for 3 years to get sponsored and keep the car rocking. Hell the card even got me a dream job offer, couldn't take it because I was still in school though

honestly 12s are far from impressive even with a 4, theres alot of cars now on the market now with just bolt ons that are able to achieve this. the times have changed from even a few years ago

sure it might impress your cav and civic buddies but wear it to the track and see how many ppl laugh at you

when i was at the dsm shootout this year, i seen a few stickers on back of evo's/dsm's that said :
"Gone V8 hunting, be back in (11or10or9) seconds"

that was pretty neat.

i should make a sticker for my ecotec cav.

"gone v6 hunting, be back in 15 seconds, close to 16 maybe "

ahh haa..

huh? isnt the point of school to get a dream job? you could have gone to school WHILE doing your dream job as well...

personally, i think doing a 14 in a 4 cylinder car is impressive, let alone a 12. all the bench racing in the world cant prepare you for what real times you see ran at the track.

running 12's in anything is awesome in my book. a lot of v8 cars cant get there without drag radials or slicks, without them they are good for a good smoke show but nothing more.
