zzp tensioner for cobalt/ion on a cav

Anybody tried this on their eco s/c setup. Did a search but didn't find any posts about it.

If you have it, how well does it work over the "stock" one from the kit.

Anyone have any pics of it?

I have it, it works well if you plan on going with a smaller pulley especially if you go back and fourth from different sizes occasionally. You also have the option of the stage 2 belt for the cobalts which may be cheaper.

airtonics-do you know if you can use the zzp w/ a 2.9? or is it only when you get to 2.8?

How exactly do you instal it? I was looking at a pic of it on their site and it is quite a small one. Do you have to remove the actual pulley for the stock tensioner?

It's bee a while since I installed it. I It's just a bracket with three slotted holes that allows you to pivot the pulley to make the belt tighter. I've used it with a 2.8 and 3.0 pulley so you could use it with most sizes just have to play with it to see which setting works best. If I recall you use the stock pulley from the factory tensioner

I used mine with a 2.9 pulley just fine.
