Top mount injector swap

Hey i have a 96 2.2L cavalier and i am wanting to add a turbo this winter but i need to swap the injectors from side to top mount. Any help would be good.

You need to have the lower plenum machined to fit the top feed injectors, theres a ton of stuff on this subject ya gotta search. (thats what everyone is going to tell you)

i have a set of low impedance injectors 41 lb fords that you could use if you wanna buy em just gotta use a resistor pack, brand new 70 bucks, flow matched and everything

search the performance forum
"top feed" minus the quotations

then change the settings to exclude replies

I got 12 threads with the last one being the most important started by VTloki.


I told you how to do it, but I'm not going to link you out of principal.

i have intake converted from side to top mount sitting in my closet i would be willing to sell its got 28 ibs injectors in it cheap

its ok i found anther manifold off a 00 2200 that iam going to use but thanks anyways.

howw much and are they high impedance or low imp injectors???

Andy, the 2200 ('98-'02) intake wont work, a differnt port design from the ('97& older) 2.2L. You can use the fuel rail with modifications and the injector harness.
