Anyone on here using a top mount turbo manifold?
If so, any problems on fitment/recommendations to me (who is looking to purchase one) about them?!

Can we stay on topic please?
I'd like to get my questions answered not hear about how much people want something that someone else has. The original member who posted it intended for me to know that he had one for sale. Everyone saying, "wow I wish I could afford one" is irrelevant.
So, again, Has anyone had fitment issues with the 2.4L Top mount Turbo manifold?
And does anyone run one/know someone who does?

your driving and alero, why are you asking these questions?
theres probably a forum dedicated to that platform where you would get better answers, just because it has the same motor dos'nt mean it will work with same results

Same GM engine, I've been through this a LOT when I post on here, its the DOHC 2.4L 4Cyl engine.
They are the SAME engine.
I used a CAVALIER intake.
It KNOW the same powertrain on a different body style car.

No one makes an Alero top mount turbo manifold, so Alero owners (ask ANYONE who does aftermarket work for the 2.4L on Aleromod) and they will say they have looked at Cav parts that fit with the same result.

So again I ask......Has anyone had fitment issues in the Cav's engine bay?
If someone has had an issue in the Cav's engine bay(smaller than that of an Alero) I KNOW I will have a problem with fitting it in an Alero. If no one has had problems fitting it I know it will fit with ease in my own engine bay.

But like I said, lets stay on topic.
So I'm asking about fitment on said powertrain.
Does anyone use/ KNOW anyone who uses the top mount turbo manifold?
If so, was there anything that had to be done to make it fit?!?!

If you are talking about the cast iron top mount manifold you can get off ebay, i think its called SRT or STR or something like that?
I'm running that one on my cav and it fit fine. Only issue was my oil dip stick tube had to be bent out of the way. Other then that it fits great and works just as good.
Only suggestion i would say about it, is port the inside out, they are very rough on the inside and could flow alot better with some work done to it

OP, alot of people have the top mount mani.. Matt G is right, your engine bay will be different so us J owners, saying yes it will or no it wont fit we dont know. It also depends on what size turbo you have sitting on the top mount that determines if it will fit or not. There is alot of things that come into play with fitment. Figure out what turbo your gonna use, what size of mani your gonna use etc. Figure out if your gonna have your cruise control back there, or ac back there or not. We here can not tell you if its gonna fit because there are different manis, and different turbos that you can play with.

Since you didn't state what kind of car, or motor, or any specific manifold you're thinking about how do you expect people to really give you the info you're looking for?

Here is a on topic reply.....

I have a BFH top mount turbo header, its never been used but it fits. The only issue is that the heater core hoses will need to be rerouted for the downpipe. Here are a couple pics mated to a GT3076R.

With creative manifold design it's quite possible. Granted these are on an Ecotec but the spacing is very close. This was the test fitting before welding.

I still have my old PIC racing manifold...

Only used for about a week.

I'll try and post a pic of what that mess looked like.
