How much boost ?

Hey guys whats up ? but anyways im building my engine on my 97 2.4 right now for boost and i have the head done just got it back it has ss valves stock size and all new springs retainers ect . now im working on the block i have eagle h beam rods and i just ordered wiesco 9 :1 standard size pistons and im goingto have all new bearings and all that and that is about it for the build . i was just wondering if you guys could help me out on how much boost i would be able to run safely.i had a 96 2.2 that i turboed on a stock engine and i only went to five pounds on that engine with stock fuel and andd injectors ..i plan on when i put boost on the 2.4 im goingto get brown tops , racetronics fuel pump , and i have a begi fmu that i already have . and i havnt decided on the turbo and accessories that im going to run right now ..

Nobody has ever blown that combo up I bet. So why don't you tell us?
Get decent bearings (Tri-metal for sure).
Get ARP head and main studs.
You'll probably want a metal intake manifold as well.
What turbo you are using will play a large role in the answer to your question.
Oh yeah, ditch the FMU and get a decent tuning system.

yeai forgot to mention about the arp main and head studs im getting ... i was thinking about a pbx intake manifold ..im going to get innovate wide band for sure and im thinking of hp tuners ... so yea that is probably what ill do .. is there alot of mods to hook hp tuners up or plug and play ?
