i think i know the answer to this already but do i need to install my fmu if i am going to be running 310cc injectors on 8psi with a hptune?
or will fuel pressure raise be fine without it on the tune?
What motor and what size turbo?
It depends on how much air your turbo is pushing at 8 psi. If it's a smaller one, then probably. But if it's a larger turbo at a relatively low psi, you might want to keep the fmu on to raise boost pressure as an aid to your pe.
its a small t28 on a 2.2 ecotec 2004 sunfire
Do you best to tune for it with HPT then put the FMU on if you need to. That's what I'm doing with my M62 setup.
so what your saying is if it starts to lean out in boost while tuning install the fmu after? will that mess up the tune tho?
Yes, your tune will be need to be adjusted post fmu.

4 Cams...32 Valves...5 Liters...This Could Get Fun!
so honestly im better off installing it first
Not unless you have a stronger fuel pump and injectors that can take the pressure.
