I'm looking for some advice on types of head gaskets you have success with your boosted apps.

I recently rebuilt my 2.2L OHV motor - forged internals, etc etc. I lowered the compression ratio and should be able to safely run 12-13 lbs of boost intercooled.

Can you get away with the Felpro gasket or is it safest to go with a Comectic at this point?

i would stick with stock GM or the felpro unless your head and block have both been surface finished to the spec ... i think its 60RA or smoother. otherwise it'll leak

Very good point - 50 or 60 Ra. The head is that smooth, but the milled block is definitely not that smooth.
