Hey guys, today I picked up a 2006 cobalt ss supercharger with injectors and a 2.8" pulley.....so far i know i need the gaskets for the s/c, and some other stuff, but im not 100 percent on what I need
I know I have to do soemthing with my throttle body, like an adapter or something, and i need a map sensor....but i think i read somewhere that you can tune our cars with hpt and I can use the stock one.If anyone can please help tell me what I'll need to do,it be great
search much....f'ing newbs
how about you stop being a cocksucker to someone whos trying to ask a question, you ever think of that one @!#$,people like you are the reason kids hate asking questions on forums
there are countless threads on this very topic, including one with a detailed list with p/ns of the parts you need.
all you gotta do is search.
its that easy.

Exactly. My M62 is off a cobalt ss and all i have done with getting the parts i need is: printed off the install instructions and went down the list. If i hit a step where i didnt have the part, i stopped and ordered it. I would also get another pulley(maybe a 3.0") until you get your tuning situation figured out. The 2.8" will be fine with HPT, but 2.8" is alittle small for the GM Reflash. My S/C came with a 2.79" pulley on it and i traided it for a 3.1" pulley so i can run the Reflash with any worries.

you are goin to need to make an adapter plate to bolt ur t/b to the s/c
thnaks alot,I know that gm makes a kit fir it,but I'd rather just know the parts I would need,as I'm new to this...figured i'd cut out all the searching for different parts...tinkles thanks, and thanks Krzy Z
Oh so you wanted everyone else to do your work for you...

wow are all the people on this forum @!#$s?
no i didnt want anyone to do any work,if they knew where a list of the parts was,it is alot easier then me having to go running around form place to place....i cant believe people get snobby about someone asking a @!#$ question
It seems like one question, but if you watch the forum its a question that gets asked alot and everyone gets tired of answering it. Its also a question where a simple search will turn up all the info you need.

yeah man,im not on here too often, mostly when I run into problems,I had searched a little bit in the few minutes i had free, and I hadnt come up with a whole lot of info...so I figured Id just ask to see what other people did with this combo...I just hate it when people act stupid due to a question that they didnt even need to respond to.Im still unclear of how the intake manifolds and the s/c meets,by any chance could you explain it to me a little bit?
The intake manifold bolts to the cylinder head and the supercharger bolts to the intake manifold.
Mike dont worry about it man if everyone searched and found there anwswer then there would be 0 new topics on any forum
You remove the stock plastic intake manifold and turn it into a flower pot.
Then you replace it with the Cobalt/Ion SS/SC intake manifold(using the SS/SC intake manifold gasket). Its a direct swap.
Then the SC bolts directly on top of the intake manifold.
Never mind the white paper towels, the are use to keep dirt and @!#$ out of the engine.

Right on the end of the SC. -MD- Enforcer is making the adapter plate that you need, but they wont be ready for sale for about a month.
