Thermostat housing and Saab Turbo Setup

Anyone else out there running the Saab turbo setup encounter the problem of the DP resting against the thermostat housing?
Mine is causing the inlet hose for the water heater to leak, because the metal pipe to the tstat housing is getting pushed on by the DP.
Here's what I am talking about:

I am replacing the tstat housing this weekend/next week. I may weld it if it is possible. Does anyone know what material it is made out of?

And any info on removing the DP made by brandonsons?(spl) It looks to be a VERY tight squeeze.

Thanks!

Well when I replace it, I will probably bend the dp in just a bit to clear it for sure.
