i ran my car today at the track with the charger and the car didnt pick up at all coming from how it was with out the charger. so does this mean im not getting boost? just seems like it didnt do anything.
Do you have a boost gauge hooked up?
no gauge yet but i though i would see some difference in how it ran.
Have you got the GM re-flash yet???
its not a matter of weather or not your feeling your boost. its a matter of if its there or not. if it is you need to look one place if its not you need to look in another. get a boost gauge.

reflash is done and my normal et didnt change at all and theres no wine at any rpm

This is odd. I went from 15.9 bone stock to 14.7 right off the bat then to 13.90. Deff check the zip tie deal
well that wasent it there was not any kind of tie holding it open. it was closed so i moved it to see if it would open and close properly and it did.
When you first installed it did you get a seat fo the pants difference?

Between the supercharger and the engine itself of course.. Ie a cracked manifold? Not too familiar with the s/cs, but are there any vacuum ports or something like that?

im going to check everything over again with a fine tooth comb this weekend look for leaks etc. john all i got was warrenty info ans the install guide.
Vacuum leak would cause idle issues, and would drive like ass. If you can't figure out whether or not you're making boost, maybe boost just isn't for you. I mean seriously, how can you NOT tell??

thanks black z i never once said in any of my posts that i new anything about boost. but seeing is how your not helping me out in any way shape or form piss off. i know what boost feels like but i have now idea about anything with this charger. if i was making boost my et should have changed but it stayed the same as if the charger wasent making any kind of boost. the car ran as if it wernt charged at all and on idle it shakes pretty bad.
by me saying i know what boost feels like. it means in a v8 camaro not a FWD cavalier.
man im telling you. go to auto zone buy a 10 dollar boost guage hook it up and start there. hell you can return the guage when your done if its a money thing your worried about.
knowing how much air is getting into your engine is the most impotant thing in this situation. you can have a million people tell all sorts of great ideas based on a slim amount of data you've provided and you might get lucky and fall on the awnser or youll just chase your tale around and come to the conclusion that were all idiots for not being able to help you.
get a boost guage, will be able to help you further.
