Alright, I fired up the cav this morning after getting everything installed for the GMSCK and I noticed I was leaking coolant from the upper hose and it had a small cut in it...no biggie or so I thought. I called all the parts stores in the area Advanced auto, Autozone, Carquest, Napa, Murrays... then I stopped by my local chevy dealer on the way to my bank, and they couldn't get the hose or even find it in the system but they we're aware of the J body S/C kit.
So we looked up the upper hose for a 06 cobalt SS S/C thinking they would be the same and it said it was on a national back order? WTF...and the pic of the hose in the exploded view didn't help at all....... I'm going through the phone book now to see what other parts stores I might be able to try.
I did look up the radiator hose part number from the gmpp s/c parts list but it's not available on gmpartsdirect.com Has anybody replaced your upper hose and where did you get it, because I'm going to buy 2 of them when I do find them.

OK I'm happy now I located a cobalt ss upper radiator hose at a Lee auto parts and that bitch will be mine in about 15minutes.
FYI, i ended up trimming the ends on the SS/SC upper rad hose to make it fit "snuggier".

I have the kit as well and mine got cut too, but not not all the way through. Did we replace the upper radiator hose when we did our kit??? Sorry I just forgot
If so then can I just buy a SS/SC hose to replace it?
I probably should, it kinda always on my mind that it will burst, haha
