i know this is kinda a newbie question but im guna ask any ways
i got a saab turbo, manifold, all the lines for the turbo and an evo cooler
i've already got a list of stuff i need but i would really like some help getting some step by step info i'm kina new at this but i got some friends to help that know a thing or two but not enough tho.
ive looked up and down throw this site for days trying to get some where some posts are half deleted or the pics are half gone.
any help would be greatly appreciated
Step one: open first beer (this will help it hurt less when you bang the fawk out of your knuckles.
unbolt exhaust manifold
bolt up turbo manifold with turbo.
find oil fitting on head its the back one. remove it and put in fitting 1/4th in if i remember.
mount intercooler and plumb intercooler piping.
drain oil. unbolt oilpan. scrap old gasket off of oil pan and block..
tap oil pan (this is the hardest part if not done right will leak oil all the time.
use black high temp rtv sealant glob on oil pan. use finger to get even spread of sealant. reinstall oil pan.
run oil drain line.
run exhaust.
install new injectors
get wide band for proper tune
get hp tuners and tune tune tune
now go run 14's
horsepower is how hard you hit the wall, Torque is how far you push the wall with you
actually this setup is capable of 13's on stock motor with nothing else done except good tires.
