IAT Extension, will this work?

Forgive my ignorance, I do not know if the IAT sensors in GM cars are alike. I'd imagine most are. Would this extension work with my 02 eco? I know its not hard to cut and splice, but I'd prefer not to. I believe its for a grand prix. If it does not work, does anyone know where I might find one that does? Thanks

p.s. I posted in the boosted forum because it is somewhat boost related. At least for what I'm using it for.

It looks like it will work. But why not extend the wires yourself? It is not hard to do.

Looks like it would be fine, but to be honest, just splice the wires dude, it takes a few seconds and a dollar worth of wire.

JUST EXTEND THE WIRE YOURSELF!!! HAHA 16 dollars for 36" worth of wiring? a roll of wire only cost like $4 dollars.

that zzp hanress is much more then a roll of wiring it has the male and female connectors for those that don't like cutting factory wires

personally i would just extend them myself but also i don't think you will gain anything other then running a little rich tricking it to dump more fuel when not needed isn't gonna help you any, well it will give worse gas milage so it wil help lighten your wallet

^^^^ exactly. some people like to do things with a factory touch and feel. there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

That's nice and all, but with alittle more time and effort(and a few more supplies) you can get the same feel.

how exactly? you still have to hack off the plug. regardless if you use solider and shrink tubing, its still not as nice as just plugging something in and rolling.

Black wire loom does wonders to hide splices. Plus it isnt hard to make the extension harness yourself, thats where the "few more supplies" come in.

I would pay 16 bucks for that as opposed to hacking off my connector.

I have had many bad experiences on J's with cutting factopry wiring and extending it. Even when done right car does not want to run properly. Put it back stock and all is fine. SO going with something like this I would also do.

that should work nicely, good to know there is such a thing, wish i would have known about that on my cav instead of hacking the wires and rewiring it
