hey there , guys i have a little dilema with this , im about to get my secret cams . and i have a question before i spend the money . which one will the best under boost ? my stocks cams or shall i go ahead and get the secret ones i have a 96 ld9
thanks
secret will help a bit, but most of the boosted guys are using the ho cams or bigger
ho cams .. do they have any for my car. ? 96 ld9 cuz i looked a bit and did not find anything
or which ones could i use ..
thanks
is it worth spending the money ? thats my real question
from what i understand ur options are kinda to use the HO cams or get custom machined turbo cams, the secret cams wont get u super far with a turbo
Thanks , Where can i get those and whats the part # or specs
Regards
They are stock cams out of the HO quad4 motors. More or less they are no longer made. You will have to find them on the internet or pull them yourself.
You have a 96, bummer. No HPTuning boost for you.

Frankly, I think the money is better spent elsewhere on a boosted engine, especially since you can't tune the PCM in your case. Changing out the cams radically alters VE, and lacking the ability to adjust for it can make for a poor-running result, at least as compared to the superb off-boost driveability that stock cams can offer.
We've put some powerful combos together with stock cams..everything from 10-second FWD street cars to 7-second street bikes!
