anyone install this thing on a supercharged 2.4? my underhood temp is killing me. cant get any more timing bc my intake is sucking in crazy hot air. i have a AEM ram intake that we modded to work with a mondo K&N filter. no good tho....]engine

Point the rubber elbow down towards the road and install the pipe straight down then the filter. Install a switch to turn on the fans when you please.

GMR has got nothing on this

why not just go with a CAI, and get the filter in the fenderwell? or is there not a opening on that side? do they make any functional hood with air inlet vents? sorta like ram air for your car? i know they do for the cobalt...another thing u could do is just run meth, should significantly reduce IAT's, thus allowing you to run more timing

i thought about meth but its an expensive fix seeing how meth is consumable. RK sport makes a sweet ram air hood that i was looking at. I thought about turning that elbow down but the delema is that the small hose that connects to the tube wont reach. ive seen it done on others cars but i dont know how

why not try a poor mans cowl hood,it's really cheap and it works.

It's sad the cobalt guy knows how to do a homemade cold air intake for a J-body yet some jbody owners do not.
