I figured I would start a thread where people could check out what others are doing and how often they change their plugs. I started getting random misfire this past weekend so I swapped out the plugs with a set of new stockers for now but I ordered some colder plugs since I'm running a 3.0 pulley on my M62. If you want to contribute please list what motor, plug part number, and blower/turbo and how long you go between changing plugs out.
I've been running stock plugs gapped to .034 for roughly 5000 miles with a M62 on my eco.
I ordered a set of NGK LTR7IX-11's that should be here shortly and will run these starting at a .035 gap and go from there.
AC Delco R42LTSM, just put them in a few days ago.
2002 Cavalier 2200 5spd
I heard the ac delco is the only way to go for the ecotec....

Avoid muti-electrode plugs for the Eco no matter what brand they are.
I'm running the same plugs the OP has on the way. Indexed and no gap changes out of the box. .042 if I recall correctly.
I've had them in for about 20K, and they are probably due for replacement soon.
you already have the right idea... .035" gap for boosted apps is right on.... and i really dont think it matters too much on the plug brand... we all run different ones it would seem...

Checkout Advanced Autoparts or Autozone, this is in the boosted forum and is intended for people who are looking for info on alternative plugs for their motors.
