Have a stock engine in my 01 Grand Am, want to SC it with the m45. Everything in the engine is stock, only add ons are header and full exhaust and intake. The SC I am probably getting has a 2.6" pulley on it and comes with meth kit. Just wondering if I would be safe to run the 2.6 with meth on stock engine with no fuel upgrades and the GM reflash? I dont want to mod the engine and want a very reliable engine, as it is right now.

no fuel upgrades? prob not on that pulley stock the injectors are almost maxed out and whats your plan for tuning gotta be able to tune ?

I would switch to the stock LSJ injectors. Just notch the fuel rail and good to go.

even still though the gm reflash will give you the map of a 310 injector and putting in 370s it wont run correctly

Ive been running the 2.7" pulley with the 370s on the GM reflash with no issues whatsoever.

but anyway especially if you are gonna be running meth i would strongly recommend having it tuned and i wouldnt run the 2.6 without meth.
