I have a 3.1 inch pulley but need a new belt since the one I have now needs replacing. Should I get a stock or a stage 2 belt. Where are you guys getting your belts from? Thanks

Stock would be fine for the 3.1 pulley I am pretty sure. IIRC any 5 ribbed double backed belt that is 70 inches long will work from the stock pulley all the way down to 3.0 or maybe even 2.9.
Im assuming my belt is a stage 2 because it came off a SS/SC with a 2.79" pulley. With that said i had no problem getting the belt on with my 3.1" pulley.
I would get a stage 2 so you wouldnt have to worry about it slipping when you decide to move to a smaller pulley.

get a stage 2 belt....i got mine from zzp
the regular s/c belt will work down to a 3.0 but it will start to squeak. the stage 2 belt is almost too small for the 3.0 pulley. this is my experience.
no problem at all getting my stage 2 on the 3.1.......
