i went to chevy dealer to try to get a re-flash on my 03 cavy. told them im putting the cobalt super charger on and would need a reflash for the ss program (but im puttinga saab kit on) they said it would be a $120 to try to reprogram it to the ss and $120 an hr for the guy to call to get the codes. they said that they would try but had no guaranty that it would work.
dose this sound right to you guys??????

wow i think it would just be better to get hptuner
if i got it dyno ed would that do the trick could i do it on my stock computer
find somebody that has hptuners or buy it and tune it yourself
LMAO this thread fails
your not doing the ss/sc supercharger , and you are not gonna use the ss/sc program
you are doing the gmpp s/c kit for the cavalier/sunfire and you need that reflash , also you need the t-map sensor from the kit , or off the ss/sc
now if you wanna doing something better , get hahn's port fueler and intake with 4 extra injectors , and buy HPT so you can tune the stock pcm , which is pretty much just tweaking timing while under boost , since the fuel is taken care of with hahn's port fueler

That's the setup I have, works flawlessly but you'll go damn near broke doing it so I don't suggest it

okkkkkkkkkkkkk the only reason i looked in to getting a s/c reflash is because many people on here have said that they have used the s/c reflash for there saab set ups
dosent mean im guna do it just trying to get all the info right
its a good choice. you might find that some of your afr's arent ideal, but as long as your power demands arent that much different from that of the flashed kit's it should work it self out. you can adjust the fine points with an fpr or hpt if youd like. however im sure most will consider this sacrelig, but its a good way to go if you dont want to spend 600 dollars on something your might not be to good at.
keep it in mind, but you might want to find another dealer. call around this place doesnt sound to competent.

I ran the reflash with my saab setup this year, it seems to do the job, you will notice it can uses some fine tuning when it goes into fuel enrichment. but as far as being easy its a good place to start.
