So I got to thinking about things, I'm building my 2.4 right now, Coming along well, will put pics up soon.
The twin turbo's been done, I've got an idea for a quad turbo, I know it's insane or just stupid, I did the flow, even running 5-7 on each turbo will produce, 20-28 psi of boost, The engine will take it with the parts I'm putting in, so custom manifold it's just the question of squeezing them all in there and tuning it properly.
Will it work or is it pointless and just expensive?
Fuel management will be an issue, what would it take for injectors 700+cc.
ideas are useful.
another q, roller rocker,lifter and spec'd cam? sounds like an na way to go but....

Put your flame suit on man. Quad turbo on anything but a diesel pulling tractor is quite a waste unless your going for uniquness. Quad turbo, tri turbo, or twin turbo on a car with a single bank is almost pointless. Again, put your flame suit on.
I hope this is a joke, Roller rockers and lifters in a 2.4? Have you even looked at the internals in your motor? This is the kinda stuff you want to buy for your car? Just stop everything your doing and read and read some more builds on the org. There are so many write ups on good quality builds, dont waste anymore of your time even looking at your car.

that seems so redundant given that u can prolly throw down 28 psi wiht ONE turbo on our motor.... makes no sense man

I agree. Sure, twin turbo has been done, and it can be awesome if done right.
With all this money you want to put into extra turbo's, piping and whatnot......why don't you just use that money for a single turbo setup?
If you fab your own kit, bulletproof that bottom end, upgrade the axles and clutch, you could attain 550+ horsepower on that car.....and I guarantee, it'll be way cheaper (and more reliable) with 1 big turbo, than 4.
My method is, the more money you spend on single parts, and the LESS parts you have in total, it's probably going to run better, and be more reliable.

Ok, so I appreciate the insight.
Here's my goal, I wanna make 900+ horse, Yes I want unique, I don't want the same build everyone else has. What's the point it's then like having time wrapped up in a stock car, when your on the line it all matters, .001 secs of turbo lag can kill ya.
How bout we think outside the box, and give me some ideas on how to attain that kinda hp, I've never seen it done with a 2.4, So instead of putting the idea down, How bout you wrechheads work with me and we figure out a way to get there. I'm trying to avoid N2O, if nessasary to get the gain I want we can talk about it.
Once we figure this out who's coming to the shop and drinkin some beer and getting this done?

Dreams and reality are two different things. I suggest you get a little more in touch with the latter.
I suggest you, 1.) clean up your shop 2.) get a hoist 3.) change your attitude 4.) offer help not bs 5.) True tuner=max hp right build no matter what

If you want to put your 2 cents in on a turbo some pistons, hell even a voltage reg, I'll listen.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when I finish this car and dyno it and get the hp I'm looking for and slap the dyno results on this thread

Ya know I apologize bud that was rude, but seriously were on here to help eachother, I've got a build in mind, target horsepower, parts lined up, parts to build drawn out, I just want some good solid ideas, Maybe I missed something, Maybe i had a bad calculation, 4 turbos would be bad ass though, I scrubbed that idea though.
I'm telling ya, start thinking outside the box, if a effin ricer can turn 1300 horse on a 2.0 I'm pretty sure larger displacement, we can get more, with some work, but for now lets get it in gear, I need to figure out my gearing too, so I can send my tranny out to jasper and get it built.
I found all the suspension and drivetrain I'm gonna need.
I still need an opinion on pipe size to use, I want to go 3" for good flow but I don't want to take away from the turbo back pressure, ideas on this.....
Now is anyone in, on figuring out some parts and making this happen?

your car doesn't have pushrods.. half the @!#$ you listed is for V8s.. get a clue.
t4 is a flange style... says nothing about the turbo. what size compressor? turbine? what trim? a/r?

get a book called 'maximum boost' by corky bell, its a great book to get the ground work for a successful and FUNCTIONAL turbo system.. not some quad turbo 4 cylinder nonsense.

your not gonna get your figure of 28 or w/e it was, your still going to have 5-7 per cyl, being it's independent. I'm not sure bud, ask the other guys but I'm pretty sure that's how it's gonna work, Your def making less work with this idea than a single turbo. so that would tell me it would create some power and more flow. were's 607 on this one?
I think your gonna have a waste in turbos, but it def could work. I'm not gonna say no, I want pics of w/e you drew out. Your gonna be deep in this project.
another thing if you did a 4 turbo setup, were are you going to put them? I read the other day this thing for a remote turbo setup, I dont think it works or is going to create the power you want, but giving this build every option to work, instead of being the normal tuner and telling you your an idiot. Lets give it a shot. I'm gonna do some research.
