Build looks pretty good, should be 12's easy Id say. Shouldnt have any cooling problems with an air/air intercooler, meth, and nitrous on top of it all. Heres a few things Id recommend:

Atleast 2-step colder plugs
Full 3" exhaust and a good header
HPT
Bully stage 4 clutch
Slicks, your gona need them

i dont understand why the S/C....you could save some money and just turbo the car to make power and on top of that doesnt put a huge strain on your engine

your are correct jason but with the bottem end built and a mild top end build and a correct tune, the car should probably be close to 300whp...if not more...

the build personally sounds good to me...i would like to as well build my bottem end minus the 2.3 oil pump swap...i am not searching for high hp numbers...i just want a fun car to drive around till i get something else....

15psi from an m62 on a 2.4(larger displacement) with ho cams and ported head alone should be around 300whp with a good tune. Then add a 100 shot of nitrous to that, it will make the same power as with a well built turbo setup.

x2. Forgot they also have the tvs blower now too. God I couldnt imagine that with a small ass pulley on an ld9, would be crazy.

mike i have the 2 step colder plugs already. forgot to mention that. i was gonna go with a 2.5 inch exhaust and i already have a header on the car too. i also have the hp tuners flashed on the car so thats not an issue.
i dont want to turbo the car because everyone and their mother around here turbo everything. i like being different and having a supercharger plus the torque and whine is beautiful, plus now that it can be intercooled and i can use a blow off valve without having to use the rsm kit its great!!!

Cool you should be good then. Yea I hear ya about the turbo thing, this wasnt available when I got bored with the m45 so I went the turbo route. This should have some very nice results, and be fun as hell too I bet. Spraying a 75 shot on my m45 setup was fun but I cant imagine how this is gona feel.

what ever happened to the one vulcan did? did it ever get numbers? did the car ever make it to the track at all?

your forgetting a wideband. and this time actually do the oil pump swap. and just because you have hptuners "flashed on" doesn't mean you have the tuner.

I have all the parts for the swap chris. Wideband is necessary so I didn't list it. Anyone know what the stock axles are good for?

not that i remember. all i remember seeing was "it should probably be xxx whp easy" or "it has to be at least xxx whp" but no dyno numbers because the dyno operators wouldnt let the car on the dyno with an oil leak

to be honest the nitrous doesnt cool it down as much as you think it would, when i sprayed i expected my IATs to drop a lot but they did not. it still does give you one hell of a second wind though. just make sure if you put a 100shot through the blower you dont have any potential leak locations. when i sprayed once i didnt have one side of my fuel rail down tight since the ear to secure it to the head is broken off of the head... so when i sprayed, my car died because the injector cup came up a little and the O-ring disintegrated and i had a vacuum leak.. havent tried since i fixed the O-ring though.

sounds like a good build though, if you wanted to scrap the nitrous you could get your head ported as much as it can be ported..and put the TVS on there like someone said above.. that would probably be a beast on the quad considering how well the LSJs responded to them.

my axles held up to the spray for a short time.. i dont recall them breaking without spray so if our axles are the same id say about 260whp.

I have the head on a bench right now. I have 1 port fully done and I'm still working on the rest. I can't wait until this beast is complete, it's gonna prolly need new axles if that's all they are good for. I'm aiming for 350 to the wheels.

All mounts, n-body control arms with poly bushings, subframe brace, and slicks and your axles should good

What kinda boost levels does the 2.8" pulley give with the mp62?

I have a full 3" exhaust you should buy, it would be perfect for your build. It is a pacesetter header, modified for a true 3" down pipe to a full 3" CTI exhaust with a magnaflow cat, dynomax ultraflo resonator and muffler. Here is some pics

The stock axles will hold 550 hp, just ask fetter.

Don't forget an LSD! One of the most important parts if not THE most important part, for not breaking half shafts.

Ahh yes, good looks

OP, yea Id def buy that header back exhaust if I were sc'd or n/a, funny I was just telling someone that hah. Would help the m62 breathe much better being full 3".
