Buying injectors...

Just wondering where everyone is purchasing their fuel injectors... I'm running the injectors from a GTP and wanting to hopefully upgrade when I put the larger turbo on.

you will need ev1 adaptors as well, i believe on that site the ev1's are called jetronic. email them and they will get you set up 100% i called them and talked with the guy and he walked me through it. he will have all the adaptors you will ever need to get them wired in right.

and those injectors will be a few mm short but people have been using them with no problems.

So nobody has bought any of the RC Engineering injectors?
Just curious.

i was going to but they were not big enough for what i wanted. i think they stop at 750 for high impedance

Yeah, I don't need anything quite that large and was looking at some of the 45 pound or 450cc injectors for my M45 build.
I thought that RC would be one of the better companies to go with when it comes to injectors and some that can be rebuilt if necessary.

yeah if i didnt have 5 people interested in mine already i would suggest them. I just know RC's are expensive too. but they are a good company to deal with. i like mine and the company i went with because he told me if they were not big enough, he would bore them out and make them big enough. basically, last set of injectors ill ever buy.

id look for some with the USCAR plugs , which are used on the cobalt/ion/solstice/sky/g6 , cobra's use that style injector also

the cobalt/ion/solstice/sky/g6 , use a harness like the early 2.2 in the J's , just make sure the harness has the same MAP plug in , and it will plug in place of the stock eco inj harness

here is the harness - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-2-Chevrolet-Cobalt-Pontiac-G5-Fuel-Injector-Harness_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem51905fe02aQQitemZ350314553386QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries

I need to find some 750cc injectors that fit a cobalt, as I have modified my fuel rail for them. I am planning on running rc ones if I can find ones that fit.

You don't.
They're designed for your motor and programmed into the PCM to operate at their peak performance.
Unless you can tune the car with a program like HPTuners then you might be able to play with injectors a bit.

ok so i would have to have mods done to it then i take it? ok well im loking to get a supercharger, cams, exhuast, bore it out and stuff like that whats ideal for that?

Read the supercharger stickie in the boosted section for some answers to your question. It's all there and was written to give you ideas on what you need to get your car going for your projected boost.
Other than that, keep everything the same but still you can add intake, header, exhaust without having to increase your injector sizing.
I'd also have a look at HPTuners because without it, you'll not be going too far with your boost wishes.
Good luck with it.

not sure if those work with all fuel rails but I use the 60s on my cobalt with decent success
