I just finished installing my kit, and now I need to do something about my intake.
I had a AEM on the car originally, but its not going to work with the blower.
Can some of you post up some pics of what you have done in the way of CAI's?!?!
Thanks

I would post mine but it would be of no value to you since I don't have a battery in the way so it wouldn't help you at all.
The AEM WILL work with the blower if you have the K&N elbow for their intake.
Orly?

Wouldn't happen to have a part number for it off hand? I don't really feel like buying a K&N just for the elbow lol

i don't think you can just buy the elbow. i tried emailing them 2 years ago about it. they only sell the complete intake. i've moved my battery now so my pic is no good. however i did turn mine straight down originally like the ion redline's have.

Try silicone intakes.com.
i used the aem cold air pipe that goes into the fender than just bought a few ends from vibrant and piped it in, there's pics in my thread alex.
you gotta call k&n , tell them your elbow cracked and hopefully they dont ask for a receipt or picture proof , other wise youll be SOL
the k&n elbow is a double 90 bend
Yep EVOFIRE got the elbow from me and K&N will not sell it separate. I was walking through a junk yard one day and I kid you not the elbow was just sitting on the hood of some car but I just happened to know what it was
was one of those random rare finds and it wasn't even attached to anything, Here's a picture of it:
The AEM CAI will attach directly to this with the M62 Just as if it were meant for it.

@!#$ty deal. Why do companies need to be SO retarded lol.
I'm going to have to try and find just the elbow, or an intake, or try and make that with 2 90's

hard to see in the pic but what I did was order 2 90 degree elbows cut the intake some used the peice of the intake I cut to go between the couplers so the clamps would have something to hold on to and it all hooked up fine.
I liked what Phlatcav did with his, might want to look up some of his old threads, basically a battery relocation then a straight shot into the fender well area
