Hey all this is my first post here JBO. I have a 2005 Chevy Cavalier and I want to boost it. The local Chevy dealer has the Turbo for the Cobalt SS 2008 for $1400.00. Will this turbo work on my Cavalier? Will it be powerful?
If it does work on the Cavalier is there anything else that you all recommend I purchase at the time I buy this Turbo?
Check out Hahn Racecraft......Get a catback exhaust and you are set !
Does this mean that the Turbo will work?
Also do you think I could get away with 3" piping on my 2.2L ECOTEC?
It will be UBER fast. So fast that you probably will need to contact the FAA for take off clearance. No joke at all, this turbo will not only fit, but will actually install itself. True story....

Alright jackass. If its right there in FAQ point me at it because I just be blind as hell where it says "The turbocharger from a 2008 Cobalt SS with work on a 2005 Chevy Cavalier". How about instead of being a smart ass you help us who are "Newbs" so we can become successful car enthusiasts and enjoy and support the forum?

You kids never learn do you? Always gotta jump on the defense and start the name calling.... Read the FAQs, use the search button, and you may make it around here.... Also, if you want to know if that turbo will work, learn how to read a compressor map. This will help answer your question!
Tata for now!

$1400 is waste for an LNF turbocharger. Take Ryans advice and learn to read a turbo compressor map. There is plenty of information on the web and even in this forum to teach you if you take the time to look for it. Then you can make an informed decision on what turbo you should buy.
I have no signiture

DO NOT PAY THAT MUCH FOR AN LNF TURBOCHARGER. You have a lot more to buy than just the turbo and why blow that much on something that will give you a hard time trying to push 300hp.
Go hahn, wait for atomic, or piece something together. If you find a capable tuner and shop around and buy some mildly used parts, you can probably get the car boosted for around 1400 instead of blowing it on a needle-dick turbocharger
