Are the 42# Stage 1&2 Cobalt SS injectors enough?
BTW, I actually have the STOCK SS injectors as of now, I know I need more fuel. Just wondering if the 42# will fit my needs.
They should. Im running a 3.1" pulley with the stock LSJ injectors.
I know of a few that with proper fuel pressure adjustment have used the stock lsj injectors down to the 3.0 possibly the 2.9 pulley with no issues on the GM flash.
I bought some "42's" as I was told, tuned out there 38's. You'll be fine with 38's and a 3 inch, as that's my setup now. The injectors are maxed though, so if you want some room to grow, I'd go for a good set of 60's. That's my next move.
M62, 42's, ZZP 3", ZZP S3 H/E

I have 42's with the 3.0 and cams, I have plenty of fuel with my meth. inj.
13.3 @ 106 mph Cammed
Well I have been using sotck SS injectors and it runs great, sounds fine. However when I am at WOT sometimes the check engine light flashes and sometimes it stays on. Afterwards I would read it with my scanner and it would read "Misfires in mulitple cylinders" and "Lean Bank one"
Figured that some bigger injectors were needed since the Stage1 kit for a Cobalt was 42# injectors, stage 2 was 42#injectors and a smaller pulley and belt.
Well I have the smaller pulley and never got any bigger injectors. Should help.
I got a set of GM 43# injectors for $250.

I meant 42#. Also $62.50/injector is not a horrible price. List price is way more. I also don't need 80#.
No, I do not have a wideband.
i'd say thats pretty hi for 42's...my flow-matched 60's were less than that new from zzp.
man i miss my fuel economy haha
James i getting the same misfire issues now, imma need to get this thing Dynoed or something i can't figure out the issue, Are you on the GM flash?

Ok, so it probably isnt spark blowout.
So would a stock fuel pump and stock ss/sc injectors be alright to use on an m62'd, gm reflashed, 3.0 pulley'd eco?
Also, I have been DYING! to get a better tune, but my tune is locked now from the reflash. What do I need to buy in order to have a new workable computer?
Sorry for the thread jack!
Yea I too want to know whats a good pulley size to go down to with out having to upgrade fuel i see 11.0:1 @10psi sometimes in the 10's so im trying to lean the car out with a smaller pulley cant decide between 3.1 or 3 I have the stage 2 belt if needed

Right, I realize that. I was more so asking what the term is for what I need? Ecu? I've heard several different terms, bcm, ecm, blah blah
