I have a 97 cavi with a 2.2l automatic. I am wanting to rebuild it through out top and bottom just cant seem to find any performance parts for it, know of any web sites and also does anyone make a turbo kit for a 2.2l if so who? I heard if you go with a turbo you want smaller compression is that true? Hope i can get some help thanks Billy

Search search search... Gonna have to build your own turbo setup. Believe only the Ecotec has a kit available. Anyone correct me if i'm wrong. Also, there's plenty of sites: turbotechracing.com aplusperformance.com gravanatuning.com (use at your own risk)

Hahn makes a kit for the LN2, but I don't think it will work with your 97 (98-02 only). Also, I don't think you can get the kit with an automatic.

And yes, you usually want 9:1 or lower compression for boost, unless you only plan on running less than 10 PSI or so (remember PSI does not tell the whole story).

Like seniorguitar said, search, search, and search some more.

Look into the top-feed conversion too.

Do a top-feed conversion, and get HPTuners, and THEN come back and ask what's next. Before you have those, you're wasting your time and money.

Nobody makes one, and no, it wouldn't be better.
