how are all you runing your water lines on the turbo i know one taps in to a heater hose weres the other one go i have all stock lines the other one wraps arond the motor ??
witch heater hose line do i need to tap in to ???
i actually don't have it hooked up on mine i have thought about doing it later when i swap it all over to the sedan. for what i have seen tho. they have tap into either heater core line doesn't really matter. and returned it into the coolant bottle through the line that comes in the top. i don't have picks maybe someone can post them. i've also seen them come off the upper radiator hose. i'll post them if i come across them again.
mine run from the upper radiator hose to the upper coolant port on the wurbom and from the lower port to the closest heater hose. i have pics posted somewhere, but im to lazy to log into photobucket and post them here.
My setup has both heater core lines tapped for them.
silver car = heater core lines
blue car = upper hose and heater core

hehe.... my set up is your old one remember.. the guy from jbom....
Ahh,, who needs water lines, just wait 30 seconds before shutting the engine off. If your racing, then wait a minute or min and a half..
I hope those times are sarcasm or an inside joke or something
Actually no,, just better off being on the safe side then to have problems later.. Any turbo car should wait at least 30 seconds before shutting it down, es specially if you have no water going through it for added protection.. <<< Thats just normal driving, racing is a different story.. How long of a time do you let it run for brandonpauli ??
3 minutes normal driving, 4 after hard or highway driving
need pic of lines plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
i need a pic of how you all run it in the upper rad hose

Mine runs for 5 minutes regardless how hard or soft I have been driving.
Think of it this way, when you beat on it, temps are going up and up and up. then you pull into the parking spot and stop. sit there 30 seconds while now coolant and oil are circulating slowly and dissipating less heat. 30 seconds later you shut it off and now all oil flow and coolant flow stops and then you are not cooling anymore with circulation, instead all the heat is radiating now and heating everything up around it and just keeps getting hotter. the more it circulates while idling the more it cools itself first. then it shuts off.
Well back when I had my 04 saab 93 turbo I never had a problem and that was after almost 2 years and 20K miles.. My brother does the same with his srt4 and he has a agp delta 40 non water cooled bigger t3 upgrade. Also he did the same on his 99 mitsubishi gsx without any problems so....
