ok i have a few questions i'm about to install a turbo this weekend i have the 1:1 raising rate fuel reg, colbalt ss injestions already installed, my question is does anyone make a plug or something to install inside the fuel rail where the stock reg was, also questions about tuneing whats best reflash if so where can i get it done or a greddy emange or hptuners please help
btw not trying to do anything crazy maybe 10psi at most
A plug for the fuel rail??? Why would you plug it? Would make a non working fuel rail. Also, if you're going to use a 1:1 fuel reg you NEED/MUST use HPtuners!!!
In all honesty, do you know what you're doing?
"You can only feed them semen for so long before their legs fall off."
on the ecotec rail there is a fpr i have already installed another fpr i need something that goes inside the fuel rail where the stock fpr goes that would let fuel in, I hope that gets you a better understanding of what I was asking, btw there r more programs that let you control your ecu than hp tuners I was just asking which one would be better I have personally seen someone use a greddy emange system in an ecotec cavalier so I do not "NEED/MUST use HPtuners!!!" I was just asking an opinion try asking questions before being rude thanks again

hmm... sounds like me a couple months ago, the major thing about this site is respect, and whoever is a newb must show alotttt of it. trust me.
no respect, no help, more problems. i have learned
running rich? turn the boost up
Emanage is a piggyback. It will basically argue with your ECU like a bad couple. Hp tuners is the way to go unless you go crazy expensive and do standalone.
What you want for the fuel rail is an adapter, not a plug. BIG difference. Hahn racecraft sells one. Talk to bill.
Wasnt trying to be rude, but there have a been a lot of threads lately about this same crap over and over. People just slapping turbos on and not know what they're getting into.

the 1:1 boost reference fuel pressure regulator will replace the factory regulator. as stated above get the adapter so you can run your 1:1 off the adaptor. go with hp tuners. more possibilites than a piggy back.
if you dont get a tune plz get a good fmu and a good wide band if not you should just run the car in a river it will not last or run and even with a fmu and wideband its still not going to be rite i really hope you get hp-tuners or pay to have it tune
Yes. check out that adapter from Hahn. I think I paid 65.00 total for it. I bought a an aeromotive direct replacement FPR so I will soon be getting rid of mine.

hey guys I know this is probley a stupid question but can I put the turbo in the car anyway I want or does the downpipe have to be on a particular side

That will depend on how your manifold is built and where it places the turbo..

What exactly is a hptuner? And please put it in simple terms.

I didnt think 03-05 had fpr's I thought they were returnless and that the fuel pressure was controlled by pwm from the pcm to the fuel pump. And I thought that the 02's had that round piece thats not vac referenced in the return line and that weird vac line on the drivers side that doesnt do anything (at least not for me, plugged into the manifold or not I have the same afrs, stock it was connected between the air filter and tb.

Nope leafy they had a fpr and had a return line.
Wait, if the 02's are for sure return and the 03-05 are return then where the heck did the talk I heard about one or the other being returnless?
