Ok ive looked and can not find what im looking for but today i hooked up my MBC and the turbo is spooling but im not feeling any boost at all. I have a 6psi spring in the external wastegate and after i hooked up the MBC the boost gauge is saying its hitting 10psi but i feel no boost increase at all. This is how i have it hooked up, i have 1 line from the manifold hooked to the bottom port of the MBC and the top port on the MBC is hooked up to a T- line with the lower port of the wastegate and the top port of the watsegate hooked up to it. Is that right?
Ive seen a couple of post saying you dont hook any line up to the top port on the wastegate?? Alls i know is its saying im hitting 10psi and i feel no boost increase at all.
i believe mine is from the side of the wastegate to the bottom of the boost controller, and the side of the boost controller to the cold side charge pipe about 3" off the turbo. almost positive you have to leave the top of the wastegate open...

Ok i swiched everything around except the vac from the intakemani went to the bottom port on the MBC and the side port on the wastegate went to the side post on the MBC and everything works now. I was also getting boost spike and this took car eof the problem as well seeing the MBC had a bleeder valve on it as well.

glad it worked. im almost positive you always leave the top port open. and as long as you have vacuum pulling off the bottom you are fine.
what kind of MBC? one you made or bought?
It was a cheap one i got off of ebay. I looked around at a bunch and even thought the price was cheap it got a lot of good reviews on it so i went with it.
gotcha. well it may spike or leak boost so dont be surprised if your boost is all over the place some times.
Ill make sure i keep an eye on that. So far so good.
yes the top of the wastegate is to be left off, u only hook the top port up if ur using a electronic boost controller like the aem tru boost.. u have pressur eoff the turbo to one side of the mbc and the other side gose to the bottom of the wastegate. there should be a arrow point to the wastegate.
