A while back, I installed a Aeromotive AFPR for when I boost with the m62...just wondering what teh stock fuel pressure is? my AFPR right now is set to 60-62ish. I have heard stock is around 50-55. any ideas?
stock fuel pressure is 43.5psi
On an ecotec its 55-60psi.On the stock ones ive seen which is more than a few.
so i just changed my oil, and checked all my fluids, and while the car was ideling (5-10 minutes) it stayed at 64 the entire time. should i dial it down to like 58? would this help/harm anything, or is it running at 64 on idle helping/harming anything?
Is the car running bad? What's your af at all the time?
KABLAMO!!!!!!! You'd probably just help your fuel economy. I cant think of a reason to run anything higher than stock on your car since the blower isnt on there yet.
"You can only feed them semen for so long before their legs fall off."
not sure what my af's are. no wideband yet.
ah ok... is it running ok?? if so the ecm will pull the injector pulse width back if its spitting to much fuel... to a extent anyway....
its runs ok. i can smell it running rich, and there is a TON TON TON of carbon build up on the tip of my muffler. that is why i was asking. I think ima dial it down a few and see what happenes

ah ok sounds like a good reason. I'd try it and see what happens.
Alright Ill dial it down this weekend to about 57-58ish and see what happenes. Should I let it idle a few before i do it, or what? I'm learning about tuning and stuff still so I dont know if the car changed after warmup or what.
