Ok, quick question... Do any of you guys, or have you, ever put a gasket between the turbine housing and the 5 bolt swing arm assembly on a internally wastegated turbo? I see they sell gaskets for non-internal 5 bolt setups but none for internally gated.
Is no gasket needed for internally??? Thanks!
"You can only feed them semen for so long before their legs fall off."
the gaskets for the non-wastegate turbos are not really needed. As long as the surfaces are flat then it is fine. The gaskets tend to blow out quite frequently. If there is no gasket there is no chance for it to blow out
You dont need one for a internally wastegated turbo.
Then I wouldn't run one. I wasn't 100% sure for internally wg turbos... but I know many people don't use them on external wg turbos. So I say, CAN the gasket!
