help with oil line resistor

ok got everything hooked up no down pipe yet but when i crank the car i get smoke comming from the turbo out the vband i did a search on this and i saw people were using the resistors to cut down on the pressure on my oil inlet it has a very small hole shouldn't that be enough or do i need to put anther one in it before the inlet btw i ran my feed line from the oil pressure sending unit and its an 04 ecotec any help would be useful and the turbo is brand new so it shouldn't need new seals at least i hope not please help

i looked at that already i thought that was what i need thanks for the quick response i shouldn't have blown my seals out yet should i because i haven;t ran it but maybe 5 mins

Depends. Mitsubishi turbos are usually pretty forgiving and can take higher pressures for longer. Garrets and most other are hit and miss. If its a ball-bearing, good luck.
