How hard is this? I need to reloacte my outlet, will i need any special gaskets or will copper coat work for this? garrett t60

Gaskets for what? Clocking the turbo just rotates the compressor or middle section....

gasket behind the compressor, echaust and middle section are ok, just have to turn outlet 45 degees

There are usually 6-8 bolts on the back of the compressor housing. Loosen them and turn the housing to the desired position, and re-tighten the bolts. That's all there is to it.

Cool, so other than putting wastegate actuator in same position, thats all the is to it? seems like there would be a gasket or something. Il try this weekend, thanks for the input. I appreciate it.
If all fails il ditch the turbo manifold and turbo, and upgrade with vulcan. Thanks all!

I just had my turbo clocked the other day to get mine to fit. I think it took 2 minutes to do it. Loosen 6 bolts, rotate, tighten and reinstall. Done.
Well I just tried to reclock the turbo, and guess what, my wastegate is gonna bind up if i go that far,
It seems my turbo manifold is and old j-tuners manifold, and it is pitched at 45 degrees instead of straight out., therefore clocking the way i need it isnt goin to happen.
Also puts my whole turbo assembly about2 inches higher than normal. Dammit I've already spent too much $ on the intercooler sh!t and injectors. Guess I'l have to fork out more for a turbo manifold like vulcans. Damn the luck.

You can sometimes clock both of the housings and move the wastegate actuator to different holes on the compressor side to get it to line up. I don't know if yours has a third bolt on the center section, but if it does, two on the compressor housing is usually enough (so you can get rid of the third).
Nah I dont have the third bolt, lining up thoses holes causes the actuator to b on the fire wall and also puts linkage in a bind. Im either gonna have to get anothe manifold, or a hood with a lot more space. I didnt build this car, someone else did, and the didnt think about an intercooler setup. heres ref for my setup, if u notice my turbo sits up a lil higher than all the photos ive seen on here.

I see no reason with the turbo sitting as it already was that you can't route the puping around, but ti will require you changing the intake pipe to the turbo.

clocked like this i can make it work, but the wastegate actuator wont bolt up and if it does itl bind up, cant turn the exhaust side, bolted to the poorly designed manifold. I think this kit was designed for stock engines on, This engine if faaar from stock.
also see how looks like my turbo is up higher than everyone elses....anyone got a straightthru manifold for sale?

Ok when you clock it it should not change the mounting of the wastegate arm. That should connect to the center section correct? You should be turning just the one side.
Also what kit you use has nothing to do with how modded your motor is.

I bought this car with this kit (turbo)on it, it was a former jtuner car. The motor has had extensive work done to it(ALL fordged,p&p, etc... but the whole setup wasnt really designed to intercool.
the wastegate actuator mounts to the inlet housing and runs to wastegate on exhaust side. nothing touches the middle section. Im gonna try to clock all the way down and mayb run my charge pipe underneath the vehicle to the intercooler.

I could always make you a custom bracket for your wastegate?
Or you can run an external wastegate, and run a DP flange with a internal block off plate.
They should make one of those already, at least I would think.
I said hell with it, I went back to original piping setup, I did however install my 63# siemens, I'm very pleased thus far with these,
