Hey everyone I have a 2.2 eco in my 2000 sunfire which im going to be put on a turbo from a saab. I have a reflashed eco and 36lb injectors and am wondering if I need to buy the tmap sensor from gm or if there is one i can pick up from parts store that will work. Also would i be able to run the rreflashed computor and the higher injectors without the turbo? would it run like facotry untill it sees boost or would it run rich?

I asked the same question awhile ago and everyone told me not to do it. Just wait to get the reflash until the turbo is on. I think gm is the only place to get the tmap also.

From all accounts I've heard the gm sc reflash is pretty poor, and from what I saw in the thread about the unlocked reflash its just a faked 2.5 bar tune like people have been doing with hptuners. From what I've seen hp tuners is the only real choice you have and it what I'll be running when I install my sc early next month.

the thing is I have a reflashed pcm that was relfahsed from gm already though all i need is the tmap im just wondering if there is a cheaper way of getting a tmap or if i have to go to gm.

gm is your best bet. i had gone to most of my parts stores locally and nothing came up on their computers....... the best price i found was on GM parts Direct. close to 50 bucks IIRC

Has anyone here used gm parts direct? anyone know part #'s? how much does shipping usually run?
