H/E Ideas(AFCO)[ideas]

I been looking for bigger heat exchanger and was look for other options.

I came across those HUGE Ford lighting AFCO heat exchangers w/fans...Now i now damn well thats to big to fit on the front of a cavy.

And do you think any of the afco h/e would fit?

But this fan option thing how well does it work? Any body put fans on the zzp S3? You think the intake temps would drop alot or do you thing it well make more restriction?

and of course i can't find diemensions for the damn thing

And if you haven't seen this thing here it is:

For those who have gotten rid of their A/C ive got a buddy that runs his A/C condenser on his GTP as his heat exchanger.

I'm using my ac condenser as the trans cooler on my truck, it keeps the trans extremely cool. The temp sensor is on the "output" from the trans where the fluid is hottest, and it only gets to about 160* max, this was when beating on it on a hot day (100*). I can see the condenser being a feasible, and stealthy idea for a heat exchanger.

He's just running the fluid through it as if it were a heat exchanger in the photos above. Same concept, air fins to pass through and absorb the heat.

I really like some of those setups above, wish they would have been out when I had my s/c. I had thought about running a fan before but wasn't sure who well it would work. I guess it would have at least helped while sitting in the staging lanes.

So i keep hearing the fans will only be good for the staging lanes i guess that makes sense since driving at about 6o mph would cool it down more than the fans

Yea the fans would only benefit you at slow speeds or staging lanes.
