So i was just wondering Has anyone or.. is it even possible to pro charge a 99sunfire with the 2.2L ??
Thanks guys
i believe someone tried it but was never able to finish it. search deep into the boost forums and you may find it. honestly its more work than payoff so i would just turbo it.
I thought it wouldnt be as hard but guess not, thanks anyway.
I believe there's a company that makes them for the 2.2L in the S-10's.

I believe it is Powerdyne that you are referring to, and they are not known for being that good. Also, I think they are very low boost (less than 6 PSI), even with a small pulley. I have heard that the seals blow out fairly quick, and they are expensive to repair.
I contemplated tabbing something that would bolt in place of the power steering pump but due to cost of parts I went to turbo
I was thinking turbo at first but the layout of the engine bay with the 2.2 the IC piping seams hard to lay out and looking at probably 2,000 all said and done.
Unless u find a kit that someone already had on a sunfire with the 2.2 even then i live in Canada B.C so there isnt much around here.
my co-worker has a complete turbo kit(minus tuning) on his 99 sunfire for sale. i know hes not going to give it away but i can ask him how much hes asking.
I have no money right now im saving up to move and @!#$ so wont be for a few more months. I was just seeing if a pro charger was a possibility
But now i will be going with a turbo just a mtter of time and money now.
Hopefully ill be able to find a kit off a sunfire so i dont have to fab up a header and some IC piping
