ok so this is the deal, i know these things are pieces of junk but i had a buddy give me this like @!#$ty t3/t4 turbo that i know for a fact has like 200 miles on it and on his set up it leaked oil into his exhaust and to his charge piping. now i thought that maybe he was feeding it too much oil he thinks its the seals. now i think it could have blown seals now after 200 miles of driving it like that. he ran it at 12 psi and this turbo looks like it can take a beating. it is a cheap ebay turbo though. either way i got it for free. it boosted well, just leaked oil. i was gonna use it on a dirt track car for @!#$s and giggles.

its a question, do you think the seals are shot or is it possible he was just forcing too much oil into it.

Rebuild kits for most T3/T4 turbos are less than 125 bucks, just rebuild it and call it a day. Or get a new Garrett for 600.
