It really pisses me off when I see HACK tunes like yours that "known/reputable" companies sell to customers at a premium cost, and they are nothing more that something I would hesitate to wipe my @ss with.... yeah i got a local shop (not the one that tuned my car but one that was honest with me by saying no we dont feel confident tuning your car so we wont attempt it) that was at the track and told me they were having a dyno day coming up so ill find out what hp levels im at and let ya know

a lot of shops wont take j-bods seriously so they just half ass them to get the car to run basically. ive heard more than a few of these stories unfortunately. its great we have such a nice resource as ryan to help us though...
amazing times. id say ur just north of 300whp.
whats the drag setup consist of? (tires, suspension settings, etc.)

I think it has more to do that they are not sure what to do with our ECU once they see what you have to work with. To some of us it seems sooo easy, but when you have tuned other GM cars and then look at a J for the first time your like what....

i got 215/45/17 nankang sport tires or something like that with tein basics set to where c/a are parallel and basically just launch like i would normally take off just a lil more aggressive and not letting the tires spin oh and no interior from the front seats back and ran with 3/4 tank of gas

Yeah I got a guy local to me that has a set of 15" drag radials for sale so im gonna check those out and hopefully pick them up i really want slicks but i think they are out of my budget with holidays coming up

radials will be fine man. if ur cutting 2.0's on street tires you'll be getting 1.8's on the radials, and that is great.

Yeah im pretty happy with the times but im sure someone like ryan could actually tune my car it would be faster my plans are to get radials and get the car on a diet to lighten it up car weighed in @ 2960 with full tank and me in it fully loaded

Great times man! New Era Performance who is known all over for their expertise with the LSx world really jacked up my tune on my car when I took it to them. They claimed they would have no issue at all tuning the car... 8 hours later I went home with a car that would barely idle and make it onto the trailer.
