Listening, and wondering about tune for the LE5 + Saab Setup. Wondering if it is ok with supercharger tune
i plan on it.... i know roofy uses one with his hahn set up i think he has... i know hes boosted with the le5 manifold....
hopefully some time soon i am going to do my saab install with LE5 intake manifold and 550 cc injectors... but i dont see why it wouldnt work... the turbo will run out of breath up top end tho with it....
The LE5 has square runners right? I swear I remember reading somewhere in one of engine books that square runners and boost didnt play well.

this manifold will flow considerably more then the L61 and will definitely need a tune. I'd love to see a before and after dyno comparison

I still think the Saab intake mani is going to be the best combo. Very open last time I had my hands on one. And the Tmap slips right in.

Its very wide open, short runners. Comes stock on a boosted car, tmap slides right in. Maybe it wont produce more power, but no one really knows. You have the Le5 mani already anyways so might as well roll with it but the Saab turbo will prolly not be safe on the gm reflash. So youll have to tune for it.

pretty sure quite a few people have run their saab setup's on the gm crapflash before without problems. obviously not getting the most out of the setup but i do believe it works.
I'd like to hear from people that are running this setup...it's tempting

Im referring to the LE5 manifold with the saab setup. TYpically have to tune for the LE5 mani alone so dunno if the gm crapflash has enough headroom for the LE5 intake mani. Nothing a few trips with a wideband couldnt figure out.
