I have the possibility to grab a Saab setup but I'm unsure if it is the high or low pressure one. If it happens to be the low pressure setup will the oil and coolant lines still work on the high pressure unit?
from what i have read from the saab sites... yes they are the same
I am peiceing together a saab setup and am in need of these lines. Any idea where to find??
There is a set on eBay.... Or new
yes they are interchangeable ive tried it.
Any info on how much these will cost from dealer?? I also need the coolant lines.
I ran the setup without coolant lines or coolant at all ever since I bought the car from t2 almost 2 years ago. Oil should be fine alone
Yah I hear most dont do the coolant lines...but im going to try and use them for longevity sake and such.
Ya same here I want to run the turbo the way it was designed to run with coolant. I figure it will last longer that way. Still no info on cost or part numbers ?
Part numbers are in a thread on this page...cost..gotta call.
I called my local saab dealership but they were of no use the parts guy had no clue what anything was he just had part numbers. I looked in the other thread that has part numbers but it was confusing. Anyone have the exact part numbers and pictures??
I've got new ones that I got with my kit
I'll look at them when I get up
I was told they were like $60 each
Dose anyone have any pics of the best place to tap in to for the oil ad coolant
Ones says
1 # 55561198
The other says
1#1287767
1337777
There is a port on the back of the block that can be used for oil and from my understanding the coolant comes from the upper rad hose. There is a post here somewhere that has some pretty detailed pics. Ill post the link when i find it.
Thanks I had lost that link when my computer crashed
I'm not sure witch ones witch it dosnt say.
I wrote the # down that were on the bag that all they had on them except for. Gm b4 it
Coolest lines
1st one in line I believe 1278-7770
2nd. Drain line 1 # 12787767 ----- I think its this ones just b.c. it on more then one tag on the bag
1337777 ---- this is how u see it on the sticker ( together )
Oil lines
1st one oil in 5556-1198
2nd oil drain 1278-7669
Dose anyone have pics of when the little hoses go off the turbo like the wast gate
There 2 little ones on the turbo and a little bigger and the wast gate sensor there is a place for too little hoses and a thing to plug in some wires
The thing that goes on top of the waste gate with the wire feed into it is an electronic boost controller that the saab's computer uses but is not needed for our system. You can just hook vacuum up to it or you can put a manual or stand alone electronic boost controller on it if you please.
Any pics of the lines that you have timka 03?
They look no different then the ones in the link except in a clear bag
I'll try to put some pics on of kit I've got started alil latter
Dealer wants 420 for the lines and everything to go with gaskets etc. Anyone have a set they want to sell?? Or does anyone know aftermarket that are cheaper??
