Hey everybody, how you all doing? Well I got my S/C kit going and it's time for a heat exchanger. I looked around and seen that the Cobra H/E is the most common one used. What I'm wondering is if it would do me any good to go with a bigger one like the OTTP, Cobalt Addiction, or one of the ZZPerformance ones for my application: 2003 automatic Chevy Cavalier with a 3.1" pulley and a dual pass intercooler living in Arizona were I can see 110F days in stop and go traffic.
If there are any other heat exchangers I might of missed, please do metioned them. Thank you guys!
If I keep my car and dont end up selling it I will be ordering the ZZP Stage 3 one. I believe theres a couple guys here running it and as far as I know its the biggest.

It will leave you alot of room if you plan on doing more with the blower, but I would say the bigger the heat exchanger the better... but im not nearly as educated as some of the guys on here.
had a blown ecotec swapped 2000 cavy, now just an 02 Grand Am, and a 74 BMW 2002...
Im running the ZZP S3 heat exchanger and i love it.
its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa
Any difficulties with installing it? Did you install it on the bumper frame? Is there enough room there? Any custom work or modifications need to make it work (excluding brackets to mount it)?
Just bolt it onto the metal bumper and go.

All the colbalt guys claim that the griffen that ottp sells is way better than the zzp stage 3. and really you dont need to order it from ottp since you're just paying more for their mounts that you wont use. Find the one direct from griffen that is the same size and has the hoses in a spot you like them.
