well finally got the time to get jims car over here and make over his janky ass bottome mount (kind of) turbo kit. funny cause this is the same kit that was on aaron's (blueboost) car before i redid his setup. well for starters this was just suppose to be a simple log manifold and down pipe which turned into a 3 day event and was a little more complicated that i first thought. ill have pics up later of before and after but for now ill just give a rundown of what i did. i made another log manifold out of 304 but a top mount style so its sits very similar to aarons turbo. the tubing is also matched up to the runners much better then the old one as the tubing wasnt blend to the flange so there were nice fat lips all around the inlets of the runners for the outgoing exhaust gasses to crash into. the down pipe was a bird @!#$ welded 2.5" mild steel piece. the new one is 3" and made of 304 (with some mild steel), the w/g dump did not exist on the old set up but jim requested me to reroute it to the DP on the new setup which i did. and then after fitting all that up i needed to mod the boost pipe coming out of the turbo. well me being me......... i could not let it leave with 10 couplers in the system so i took it upon myself to go ahead and clean everything up a bit. the end results looks great compared to when it got to my place. the lag has decreased dramtically and the cars feels like it gained quite a bit of power by just putting a slightly more efficicant setup on it then it had. ill get the pics of later and if people are interested in this let me know. if i get enough interest in it ill have jim come over on another weekend so i can tear it apart and jig everything for reproducing. jim if u got any comments feel free to post.

I looove it, only thing im not feeling is all the piping and welds used for the cold side. But I can see why it was needed.
Btw, you still have no AUTO 2.4 around chillin to mock up a header yet?

jim wanted a recirc instead of open dump, i cant do anything about that. but if people do want and open dump if i make these its no biggie (and would actually be much easier to make)

I like what you did to get the 3" DP to bolt up to the flange. I have to wait and see what the guy did for my car but sounds like he had a few inches of 2.5 and then went to the 3". I like what you did a lot. Nice work btw.
