Anyone running an addition injector? If so, what one are you using? I'm looking into ways of adding fuel for boost besides those that rely on fuel pressure or larger injector/s-afc.

im running an extra injector controller with one additional injector for each intake runner. unfortunetly an intake manifold needs to be built to accomidate this or you can add a couple of injectors to your boost pipe just before the throttle body. its not as accurate but it works.
This is an ill-advised way of adding fuel if you are just gonna throw a injector in the intake stream somewhere but if you are gonna do it I recommend the extra injector controller something similar to the Port Fueler setup. & Joe E. you may want to contact Hanh if you need a manifold that allows you to run additional injectors, as that is the exact setup they use for port fueler, he has recently reduced prices & has a gp going on last time I checked.

I agree, its not the best way, but what is better if you take out the options of reflash or an fmu?

extran injector controller is the next best option to an actual ecm tune. i used it on my 06 2.2 which has no tuning support except for trifecta. i used trifecta and i had too many problems so i went with the extra injector controller.
Glowin Cavi may I ask y larger injectors with a tune or FMU is not an option? I understand its your personal decision @ the end of the day but I'm jus curious?

Stickman- In my cav's current state, it has larger injectors and an s-afc. This system has worked great for a while, but its not boost controlled, only RPM controlled. I don't like that option. I'm not a fan of ECU flashed because I tend to change things way too often. An FMU is out of the question due to high boost. But in the sense of this question, the true nature was for another vehicle I'm boosting which has a returnless fuel system.

You may wanna check with the Cobalt guys on the returnless fuel system solutions but I'm a huge fan of the Hahn Port Fueler, which I have plugged a few times already. That's what I purchased. I think the EIC is your best bet with the situation @ hand though. You would need to calculate what size injector based on the HP goal of the build. Beyond that I retire from this thread because I really have no further useful knowledge Lol. Good luck man.
