Any guys with turbo 2.4Ls running a modified dipstick? Currently my tube and stick itself are dangerously close to the turbo header. Was thinking of running a metal handled dipstick to save my stocker from melting onto the header. Checking oil would be next to impossible after car is warmed up though. Unless I carry welders gloves with me.
Open to suggestions and would love to see some ideas!

what I did on mine I cut about 1" or 1.5" (I don't remember) of the tube and the dipstick
I also cut the tab that hold the tube on the cam tower and I turn the away the header the tube and reweld the tab lower
