So I have the m62 eaton with 2.8 pulley and full exhaust header ect... The car is tuned by trifecta and when I get to about 90-100mph the car just wont pull anymore? The belt is pretty loose so I just ordered the oversize tensioner pulley from zzp. Anyone have any suggestions? My mods are current in my profile.

Any idea what your IATs are?
I'm not positive how the Trifecta tune looks as far as safety nets...but you'd typically have the computer pull timing at certain temps, as a safety guard. For example, in my tune (using HPT), we have it set to pull up to 6* timing when IATs hit 150, and I think 10* closer to IATs of 200. I know on a hard pull where I'm taking it through redline on each gear I climb up to 150 IAT easily, and I'm on a 3.1 pulley, so I imagine you're heating up fast with a 2.8 (not sure what your cooling system consists of, obviously).
Also, are you hitting rev limit? I'd also assume their tune pulls timing when you hit rev limit.
Either scenario, I'd guess what you are experiencing is timing being pulled, whether it's due to heat, rev limit..I don't know..I'd get in touch with Vince @ Trifecta and get some info on the tune, and if there are built in parameters to pull timing.
top speed limiter still in effect? What does your boost gauge read? And do you have a wideband? If your boost level is good but you dont have a wideband I would say tune is suspect.

Ya vince done the tune and a local guy uploaded it. It has an OTTP h/e and cobalt pump with factory end plate.
Weird thing is, sometimes it will pull past 100mph great, I hit 125 once but here recently It hasn't been doing so great. It was like 75 out last night and it just wouldn't pull past like 95mph
I have no idea where my IAT is or a/r? I know, I'm crazy for not having a wideband and being boosted...lol
No I'm not hitting the rev limiter, it is raised to 6800 also.

Unless you are loosing boost from a slipping belt, which would happen all the time and in every gear at all speeds. i want to say its just a crappy tune. Because with the 2.8, a full exhaust, and a good tune. You should be able to pull on LS1 and LS2 powered cars, at least mine can.

Ya, I'm leaning towards tune.... The belt is loose as hell though. I can hear it slip when I shift, I'm only at like 10-11 psi and when I shift it drops to 7 then jumps back to 11-12 in 4th.

Boost is a tad low, I would just go grab a new stage 2 belt from the dealer and cut a rib off. Or try to find a goodyear gator back in the same length as the stage 2 belt.

Thing is, I had a stg 2 belt and I ended up shredding a few ribs off of it somehow... Then installed another stg 2 and it done the same thing.... I dunno wtf is going on, the tensioner compresses so I just dont know.

real stage 2 belts or the fake ones that ZZP sells?

I have no idea, The guy I bought the kit off of included the belt and had no idea what it was... Then I bought the tensioner setup off of css.net and a guy threw in a belt and he didnt know which one it was...lol
13.520 @ 98mph! 220whp 234tq
Yeah I would go to the dealership and order a stage 2 belt.

I know I'm not supplying all of you with the info you need to help me out but I just don't know.... sorry guys

Can't I run a stock belt with the oversized Tensioner pulley though? Or so Ive read on a thread on here...
13.520 @ 98mph! 220whp 234tq
Oh yeah, you run the stock size on the oversized pulley. I must have missed the part that you had that. Having that might explain the shreaded stage 2 belts.

No, I just ordered the zzp pulley, stock tensioner is on it now...
13.520 @ 98mph! 220whp 234tq
yes stock belt will work great on the ZZP larger pulley and the 2.8.
I tuned a M62 with a 2.8. Made good power and will pull past 100mph with no problems.
Without logs to see timing, AFR, boost too hard to say what the problem is.
FU Tuning
Yeah, a 2.8 pulley setup, even on the stock exhaust should pull past 140...

Ya, I gotta figure this out.... Getting old fast. lol And I am bringing up a misfire code and a bank 1 rich code, I had none of these before the tune. smh

Im curious on how having an small pulley will allow the pcm to pull past 108? I can see it in tune to allow it to do that but a pulley? Just confused there.

Noone said anything about the pulley allowing the car to pull past 108.
OP said car will not pull past 100mph. He has a custom mail order tune, so speed limiter is likely removed.

O ok well from reading your post and the person after you it sure seem like that was what you guys were reffering to
Yeah, well a smaller pulley on the super charger is gong to make more power.

I mean I had a 75 shot of nitrous on the car before and It was faster for sure, I was probably around 210whp on spray and I thought Id be around 230ish on a 2.8 pulley but I guess not...>:o
13.520 @ 98mph! 220whp 234tq
lol your sig says "13.871 @101 mph!" so obviously its going above 100 mph.

Its also going to make more heat, and pull more timing.....
