I only know of 1 person with one, but I mean they do sell all the stuff you need to set one up. There are tons of ld9 m45 guys though.

i personally raced wade jarvis' setup (only 1/8th mile) i dont even remember the exact times but it was faster with the m45 times wise iirc. ...i wanna say mid 9's in the 1/8th?

but, this was on the way home the day of actually picking it up from brian at vulcan so there were some bugs that needed worked out, especially with the tune. i rode in it after he got most of it worked out a few months later and it was a beast. still dont think it was worth all the hub-bub though. i rather enjoyed the m45 it had before....

leafy, i am unsure on whom you are referring but tyler wicher's bought wade's setup and built one HELL of an engine to go with it, complete with gutted crank, 2.3 pistons (.080 over LD9), eagle rods, mantapart ported head w/ 1mm os valves and W41 cams (i know, you think they will be worthless in a blown car, we'll see). it also has alcohol injection and a frickn OEM direct port nitrous flange setup LOL.

tyler did race it last year on a stock bottom end (with mantapart head and ho cams) and i believe got a best of 14.1

i have no doubt that his car will run 12's. its got a clutch masters twin disc clutch setup with aluminum flywheel, LSD getrag and the suspension/slicks to hook so as long as he gets the tune right ti should have no trouble getting there.

again, it had bugs that needed worked out. obviously the setup works pretty good considering tyler's ran a 14.1 detonating like a bitch on E85 and a stock bottom end.

i like the setup but at the same time i have to ask why even do a supercharger when we can run 13's n/a on street tires at 1600 feet and 2600 pounds with driver.

I dont need to know about the ld9 m45 guys. I am a ld9 m45 guy. I just wanted to see factual improvements. Such as if its worth spending roughly over a grand into the setup for only like 20hp. I do understand the more potential but meh...

doesnt seem to be. fastest m45 time is 13.7, fastest m62 (on LD9) is 14.1.

Race for a million bucks....you want to run a 13.7 or a 14.1?

Honestly, I do not think a single person that had the kit kept it long enough to get answers you are looking for. Tyler maybe the first and his motor is far from stock

Yes fastest recorded pn this site times are those, but doesn't mean someone has not been faster.

You take the car that runs 13's n/a, put a supercharger setup with the same weight and driver I bet it will run faster.

LOL so ur basing ur argument off cars "not on the site" that you dont even know about?

pretty sure the 13.7 run was even on nitrous too but cant confirm. either way i said 13's and we know jm decal guy ran 13's without spray so..

ONLY blower builds i know of thats better versus what n/a cars have done on here were jon d's that was in the 12s and the harrop canada cav in the 12s iirc, which both were ecotec so the point is moot because were talking about ld9's.

i dont even see how we can have an arguement with facts starring us in the face versus "builds in the closet" nobody has seen hahaha
