Is there anyone on here that has done the sabb turbo swap? Just wanting to know a lil more information about and if theres anything like that for the ecotec motor.

i was going to go saab turbo until i started realizing s/c is easier and more practical for a daily driver, but the saab turbo would be a great way to learn turbo basics. and you cant get too crazy of a setup out of it and blow your motor as easily as a bigger turbo!

I have the Saab turbo and love it, properly set up and tuned it is a lot of fun.
you can blow your engine just as easy with the saab as any other turbo.... missinformation will be the death of your engine if you dont understand how boost works... its not pressure that blows engines its tq and hp as well as knock....

To answer the OP, Yes people have done the Saab turbo swap. the more information.... people put the Saab turbo on their cars using the Saab turbo parts. Yes it is available to the Ecotec platform.
